Messy Fun

I have a couple posts to catch up on school wise, but I wanted to go ahead and share this video now.  I won’t go into why Jack was painting a puff paint moon—I’ll share that next week with our row, but…he had the best time getting messy with homemade puff paint today.  He actually told me, “You are the best mommy ever.  I love school!  I want to do this all day long forever and never stop.”  OK, after that I ran to get my camera and get a video.  Really, he was having.a.blast!

Jack loves his school time.  He asks each day, often, 'how much longer till school, are we doing school today'.  He gets disappointed on the weekends when we don't do school.  I think it is so sweet that he enjoys it so much.  I do too.  Homeschool is truly one of the brightest spots and biggest blessings in my life.  I am so, so thankful for this privilege and opportunity.

  2. Ah, that is the sweetest video and comment! He really looks like he is enjoying himself. We did the Elmer's Glue/Shaving cream recipe for our snowscape for Katy and the Big Snow ~ it really is so fun to play with! So fun to see this video and how happy Jack is. =)

  5. Thank you for the invite. I am enjoying your FIAR ideas and I look forward to seeing more. I used FIAR many years ago when my now 16 yr old was around 6 yrs old. I had so much fun using it with him but he was an only child so it was easy. Now we have a 7 yr old and a 3 yr old as well along with the oldest doing high school. Your posts are inspiring me to pull out the fiar and try it with the 2 younger ones together.

  6. That's so great that he loves it! Gus scribbles on paper. When he's done he says "school, mama, school, school!" It's so cute I can hardly stand it. I want to freeze time!
